How do I learn AI?

How do I learn AI?

Learning how to use AI is a less about learning each individual artificial intelligence tool; it’s about learning how you can use the tools to your benefit. You can learn artificial intelligence by myself; it just takes a little time and patience. Best of all, most of it is free and not difficult to learn.

Here are my tips below to help speed up and start learning how to use AI:

Most AI tools on the market you won’t need, and there will only be a few that you can start using straight away to boost productivity.

Sign up to a new email address

You’ll get spammed from their companies Multiple times day. Sign up for a free Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook account to keep your inbox free from spam.

Sign up to AI platforms for free trials

Most tools will offer a 7 or 14 day free trial, where you can cancel straight after signing but still get the time period to use the platform. Cancel the subscription after you sign up so you don’t need to remember later and get charged for something you won’t use.

Use them to their potential

Push them to their limit. Set some time aside to explore all the features. Most products are very simple and don’t do much, whereas some are very powerful.

Watch others use them to learn

Sometimes watching someone on Youtube for 1 or 2 minutes helps you understand the product better than trial and error. Look for creative uses of the product you are testing, then try to replicate yourself.

Multiply them to create efficiencies

Sometimes using 2 or 3 AI together can create great products. For example, using ChatGPT to brainstorm a list of create social media ideas, and then bulk upload these ideas to a design in Canva. In minutes, you can have 20 or 30 YouTube Shorts, IG tiles or TikTok videos ready to bulk schedule with Hootsuite. Something that would take days, can now be done in minutes when you use them in sycn

Share notes with your friends or colleagues

Meet up and chat with your friends, co-workers or colleagues and share notes. You’ll all learn different skills and be drawn to different areas of AI, and when you discuss what you’ve learned, you can increase your knowledge of the tools and the best way to use them.

Decide what will make a difference to you

Finally, figure out how to integrate them into your day-to-day to increase your productivity. Remember, change management is a skill in itself. Read more about Integrating AI into your business.
